The Ionia Standard, Friday, July 26, 1918


Mrs. Bell Monks died at the home in Saranac early Sunday morning, following 
the death of her daughter only three weeks ago, to whom she gave such devoted 
motherly care.  The mother and daughter had occupied the home together since 
the death of the father four years ago.  Deceased was the mother of Ray Monks 
of Ionia.
