The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, June 8, 1967

Mary E. Minier, 81, of 250 Loredo in Flint, and an Ionia county native, died 
Tuesday evening at Walter Winchester hospital in Flushing.  Born and raised in 
Ronald township and an Ionia county resident for many years, Mrs. Minier spent 
the past 31 years in Flint.  She was a member of a Methodist church there.

In 1905 she married Don Minier in Ionia county, and they celebrated their 50th 
wedding anniversary in 1955.  He preceded her in death in 1959.

Mrs. Minier’s survivors include four sons, Burt of Chicago, Maurice of 
Belding, Robert of Genesee, and Harold of Clio; two daughters, Mrs. Jack 
Andrews of Swartz Creek and Mrs. Mildred Badder of Ionia; 20 grandchildren and 
52 great grandchildren.  

Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Reigle funeral home in Clio on Clio 
road, with graveside services at 1:30 p.m. at Palo cemetery.
