Elton Lyon Passes After Long Illness

Charles Elton Lyon, 58, died Wednesday evening at his home on Looking Glass 
avenue following several month’s illness from a dropsical condition.  Funeral 
services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Neller Funeral 
Home, in charge of Rev. Raymond V. Smith.  Burial will be made in Portland 
cemetery.

Mr. Lyon was born in Danby and had spent his entire lifetime in this vicinity.  
For the past ten years he had resided on Looking Glass avenue.

Besides the widow, one brother, Eugene Lyon, of Danby, survives.
