Ferris in Sumner, where he has been living for a number of years, last Saturday, aged 72 years. The deceased came to this township over forty years ago and lived at Frank Luscomb’s for a long time. He was a war veteran, having enlisted from Otisco, when the war broke out, serving his time and re-enlisting again. He suffered with rheumatism for several years and it is supposed he had a stroke of paralysis while he was going up stairs, as he fell heavily and expired in a short time. The body was brought to Otisco for interment in the old cemetery, the funeral being held Thursday. The deceased was a brother of Lyman Stillwell and J. B. Luscomb.
