Ionia Daily Sentinel, 5 Jan 1955

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah J. Laden of Lansing who died Saturday afternoon 
were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Boynton funeral home with the Rev. 
Heath Goodwin officiating.  Pallbearers were John Toutenhoofd, Viggo Nielsen, 
Milton Decker, Karl Lafler, Russell Brecken Sr., and Russell Brecken Jr.  
Interment was in the family plot at Highland Park cemetery.

Attending the services from away were Mrs. Catherine Crawford, Mr. and Mrs. 
Glenn Crawford, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart, Mrs. Martha Rogers, Mrs. Harold 
Starr, Mrs. B. M. Gidley, Mrs. Margaret McLellan and Mrs. W. I. Brown all of 
Lansing.
