Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Feb 1988

Richard (Don) Kohloff, 58, of Ionia, died Wednesday, February 3, at the Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Grand Haven on May 3, 1929, the son of Charles and Dorothy 
(Fouke) Kohloff.  He was married to Bonnie Coley on September 20, 1952.  He 
worked for 35 years at General Tire in Ionia.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; two sons, Michael Kohloff and David 
Kohloff, both of Ionia; his mother, Dorothy Kohloff of Ionia; two 
grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Kohloff of St. Clair Shores and Charles 
Kohloff of Ionia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Main Street Chapel 
of the Montgomery-Cook Funeral Home, with the Rev. Keith Bovee officiating.  
Interment will follow in Balcom Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial 
contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Ionia Hospice.
