The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, August 23, 1943

Funeral services will be attended at Belding Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 for 
Rev. J. E. Hudnutt, 73, a Free Methodist minister who died Saturday at his 
home there.  He had been pastor of churches in Belding, Grand Rapids, St. 
Louis, Alma and Cedar Springs.

Surviving are his wife, five sons, Glenn and Kenneth of Lansing, Herbert of 
Detroit, Dale of Belding, and Judson of Jackson, and two daughters, Mrs. Fern 
Anderson and Mrs. Violet Start of Grand Rapids.
