Carpenter house on E. Congress street, on Sunday afternoon at 2:38 o’clock, following an illness of which had its start on April 5. when she fell on north Bridge street. Death was caused by apoplexy. Funeral services were held this afternoon from the Brown-Hall Co. undertaking parlors, Rev. Curch officiating and burial was in Smyrna cemetery. Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Stanley Sitko, of Detroit and Mrs. Everett Luno, of Grand Forks, N.D.; three sons, Ben and Don, of St. Johns and Floyd of Grand Forks, N.D. Mrs. Hubbard was born in Smyrna and spent her girlhood years there. On her eighteenth birthday she was married to Jay Hubbard and the greater part of their lives were spent in this city. She was a member of the Mystic Workers and also an enthusiastic Rebekah, the members of the latter organization attending the funeral of their companion in a body.
