The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, April 8, 1920
Adel E. Corey was born in North Plains township, Ionia county, Mich., February 
1856, the daughter of Charles A. and Jane Bissel Corey and departed this life 
March 18, 1920, aged 64 years and 27 days.  She was married to Harvey E. 
Howorth of Palo, Mich., October 11, 1877.  To this union were born two sons 
and one daughter, Hugh T. of Lansing, Mich., James E. of Willow Creek, 
Montana, and Mrs. Clare Wright of Palo, Mich.  She leaves to mourn her loss a 
husband, her children, three grandchildren and a a large circle of friends and 
neighbors.  She gave her heart to God in early life and has been a member of 
the Palo Baptist church for a number of years, always striving to do her best 
in the work of the Master.  She was a loving wife and mother, a kind neighbor 
and a great lover of little children.  She was a member of the Order of the 
Eastern Star at Palo.

neighbors, friends, societies and the Eastern Star lodge for their many acts 
of kindness and beautiful floral offerings during the illness and death of our 
beloved wife and mother, also thank the choir and pastor for their kind 
officiation.
