Houlihan was born in Vergennes Dec. 3, 1871 and died in Belding at the home of her sister, Mrs. John Denton, Feb. 23, 1918, at the age of 46 yrs., 2 mos. and 20 days. She was one of a family of eleven children, one sister and baby brother having preceded her to the “great beyond.” She leaves to mourn their loss two brothers and six sisters besides many other relatives and friends. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors at Belding and the Island City Rebekah Lodge at Lowell. She was ever a kind, loving sister and will be sadly missed in the homes of the brothers and sisters.
