The Lake Odessa Wave, date unknown, February 1969
Morley C. Hough, 68, Lake Odessa, retired businessman and chemist, died this 
morning at an Ionia nursing home.  Mr. Hough formerly a chemist for a Lake 
Odessa firm later operated a men’s clothing store in Lake Odessa until his 
retirement.  

A native of Canada, he came to Lake Odessa when he was a child.  He graduated 
from Eastern Michigan University and was a member of the United Methodist 
Church, Masonic Lodge and Lions Club.

Surviving are his wife, Lottie; a son, Rodger of Hastings, a grandson; two 
brothers, William of Wisconsin and Walter of Minnesota; and his stepmother, 
Mrs. Edith Hough of Grand Rapids.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Pickens Funeral Home, Lake 
Odessa.  Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.
