Kenneth E. Heintzelman, age 62, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2004 in 
Grand Rapids, MI. He was born on March 16, 1941 in Ionia the son of Everett 
and Evelyn (Taylor) Heintzelman.  

Mr. Heintzelman graduated from Ionia High School in 1962 and was a member of 
LeValley United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Navy for 20 
years, was a Life Member of the Sheridan VFW Post # 5065 and the Ionia Moose 
Lodge. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his children, Kenneth 
Heintzelman, Jr. and Lisa Heintzelman; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers, David 
(Dona) Heintzelman and Ronald (Sandy) Heintzelman, both of Ionia, Sandra 
(Kyril) Brown of Woodbury; nieces and nephews. 

The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Mark Johnson, Pastor at 
11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at LeValley United Methodist Church. 
Military Honors will be provided by the Sheridan VFW Post # 5065. Interment 
will take place in the Spring at Balcom Cemetery. The family will receive 
friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Cook Chapel, Ionia from 6-8 p.m. 
Tuesday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Hall-
Fowler Library Memorial Fund in memory of Mr. Kenneth E. Heintzelman.
