Edgar Haliday, 79, prominent farmer of Sebewa, died at his home Monday evening after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon with Rev. A. Hoffman officiating. Burial was made in the Sebewa cemetery. Mr. Haliday was born in Massachusetts and came to Sebewa in 1863. In 1885 he was married to Miss Lent McCormick. Besides the widow he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Blanch Lippincott, and one son, A. C. Haliday, both of Sebewa; also three sisters, Mrs. Linnie Bingham, of Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. Alice Gardner, of Lowell, and Mrs. Lillian Merrill, of Sebewa.
