The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, December 14, 1965

Harold W. Haag, 76, resident of route two, Fenwick and Woodard lake area 15 
years, died Monday evening in Belding community hospital after an illness of 
four days.  Born in Courtland township, October 12, 1889, he was the son of 
John and Laura Stoddard Haag.  He was a member of First Presbyterian church of 
Ionia.

Surviving are his wife, Elthea, to whom he was married in Grand Rapids in 
January 1930; two sons, Herbert of Rogers City and Richard of Grand Rapids; 
two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Schultz and Mrs. Beatrice Bruin, also of Grand 
Rapids; a step-daughter, Mrs. Ruth Allen of Charlotte; one brother, Howard of 
Trumbull, Conn.; a sister, Myra Sage of Central Lake; 18 grandchildren and 14 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Myers funeral home, following by 
interment at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
