She was born in Allegan county, January 18, 1897, the daughter of William and Mae Holland and graduated from Allegan high school. A graduate nurse from Hackley hospital school of nursing at Muskegon, she worked as a registered nurse for a national life insurance company in Battle Creek for many years and also did private nursing. She was married May 6, 1939 in Battle Creek to Otto Grigsby and moved to her present residence on Peckins road in 1947, from Lansing. Surviving are her husband, Otto and a son Carl of Lyons; one brother Eugene Holland of Jackson; three granddaughters. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home in Muir. Rev. Joseph Everett of South Boston Bible church will officiate and interment will be at Muir cemetery.
