The Ionia County News, Thursday, December 18, 1939
Lawrence Ivan Geiser, 69, was found dead in his bed Wednesday morning by his 
daughter, Stella.  Death was caused by heart attack, according to coroner 
Harry Myers who was called.  Mr. Geiser was married to Ida Crowl of Eaton 
county whom he survived by several years.  Besides his daughter Stella, he 
leaves another daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Stahl of Campbell township and one son, 
Harry at Home.  There are three brothers, Harry, Andrew and Frank of Campbell 
township, five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Brumbough of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Anna 
Sease, and Mrs. Myrtle Rodgers of Lansing, Mrs. Nora Mote and Mrs. Stella 
Lowery of Campbell; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Thornapple church with a 
prayer service at the home preceding the rites.  Burial will be at Clarksville.
