Dorothy M. Erb, aged 93, of Lake Odessa, went Home to be with her Lord and 
Savior on Friday afternoon, January 2, 2004.  Dorothy was born in Lake Odessa 
on May 20, 1910 to Edward and Grace (Shade) Haney.

She has been involved with the family farm all of her life.  Dorothy loved her 
family, but above all she loved God and was faithful to Him.  She was joyful 
and diligent in her service to the Lake Odessa Grace Brethren Church for over 
50 years.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Arnold (Linda) Erb; grandchildren, Anita 
Ackley, Nancy (Douglas) Hendrick, Gordon (Wanda) Erb, and Kevin (Michele) Erb; 
great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan, Jessica, Sarah, Tyler, Lauren, Chelsea, 
and Jacquelyn; sister, Anolah (Charlie) Moore; niece, Amanda (Jerry) 
McConnell; and many other loving relatives and friends.  She was preceded in 
death by her parents; husband, Roy Erb,; and brother, Edsel Haney.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Koops Funeral Chapel in 
Lake Odessa.  The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Koops 
Funeral Chapel.  Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery.  The family has 
suggested the memorial contributions may be made to the Lakewood Community 
Ambulance.
