The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, April 20, 1960


Orville Edwins, 85, retired farmer, died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday at his home 
on route one, Sunfield.  He was born December 28, 1874 in Sunfield township 
and had spent his entire life on the farm where he was born.  He was the son 
of William and Helen Leonard Edwins.

He is survived by his wife, Florence, whom he married in 1920, one son, Glenn 
of rural Woodland, one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren, and nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 1:30 at the Pickens funeral 
chapel.  Burial will be at Lakeside cemetery.
