The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, March 31, 1962


Frank M. Edwards, 64, of Traverse City, a longtime resident of Ionia, died at 
6:45 a.m. Friday.  He had been ill several years.

He was born April 8, 1897 in Ohio, the son of Lester and Lillie Edwards.  He 
lived in Ionia about 40 years and for many years was employed at Vincent’s 
Greenhouse.  

Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Mable Shoemaker of West Branch, Mrs. Theo 
Shier of Lansing, Mrs. Sadie Shuman of Dearborn, and Mrs. Alice Fox of Grand 
Rapids; and one brother, Leo Edwards of Ionia.

Funeral will be conducted at Myers funeral home Monday at 2 p.m. with burial 
at Highland Park cemetery.
