He is survived by his wife Helen (Haskin); his children, Paul and Marilyn Braman and Ruth and Mitchell Miller, three grandchildren, Ryan and Kristin Bramen, Jill and Ben Pitsch, Sara and James Wever; two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Brooklyn Wever. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Braman. Don served in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman and later worked at the Ionia State Hospital and Riverside Correctional Facility for a total of 33 ? years. After retiring he moved to Burlington, N.C. for 25 years and then moved to Grand Rapids two years ago. A memorial service will be held Monday 7 p.m. at Wealthy Park Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Young officiating. Private interment services were held in Palo Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Wealthy Park Baptist Church, 2233 Michigan St. NE, Grand Rapids.
