Joan “Dennis” Bott, age 67, died December 23, 2004.  She was born November 12, 
1937 in Orleans.  Ms. Bott was a retired bus driver for the Lansing Public 
Schools.  

She was preceded in death by her son John, and daughter Linda.  Surviving are 
two daughters, Lois (Leonard) Bartotti and Ina (Daniel) O’Briant; one son, 
Dennis (Kris) Oyler; former husband and dear friend, Louis Bott; 14 
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman (Betty) Dennis; 
two sister, Mary Strickling and Sherry (Fred) Miller.  She will be deeply 
missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28 at 2 p.m. at the Gorsline-
Runciman Co. Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing with Rev. Ralph 
Barton, Pastor, officiating.  Interment will be in Woodard Lake Cemetery, 
Orleans, on Wednesday at 2 p.m.  The family will receive friends at the Chapel 
Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers those 
desiring may make contributions to the family in memory of Ms. Bott.
