Mollie J. Blough, age 90, of Lowell, passed away Aug. 21, 2008 in Ionia.  She
was born Feb. 14, 1918 in Long River, Prince Edward, Canada the daughter of
Bernard and Mary Jane (Bolger) Fitzsimmons.  Mollie married Louis Blough Nov.
21, 1938 in Essex, Ontario Canada who preceded her in death in Aug. 5, 2004. 
She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Mollie is survived by her children, Carmine Borden of Saranac, Roger Blough of
Georgia, Arthur (Veronica) Blough of Lowell, Joan (Dennis) Sisson of Arkansas,
Ruth (Roger) Rowley of Ionia, Phyllis (Jerry) Huver of Saranac, Angela (Scott)
Slaght of Freeport and Martha (Rob) Fuhst of Conklin; 21 grandchildren and 21
great-grandchildren.  Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her
parents; 1 son, Dale; 7 brothers and 6 sisters.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, 11 a.m. at St. Anthony’s
Catholic Church in Saranac with Rather Donald Weber celebrant.  Interment
Saranac Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday 10
a.m. until time of service at the church, with a Rosary being held at 10:45 a.m.
also at the church.  Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions in Mollie’s
name to St. Anthony’s Building Fund or Clinton Home Hospice-Sparrow Hospice
Service, 1210 W. Saginaw, Lansing, MI  48915.
