Batson-Patterson were conducted by her pastor, Rev. M. W. Duffey, at the home, 161 East Main street, Wednesday afternoon, the burial following in Highland Park cemetery. Mrs. Patterson died suddenly Sunday morning while doing some baking for the noonday meal. Mrs. Lydia Stornum and Rev. Weber had charge of the flowers. The members of the Ladies of Moose, the Rebekah lodge, and the Royal Neighbors were reported in numbers and seated in a body, all of which Mrs. Patterson was affiliated with. The music was provided by Mrs. R. A. Colwell and Mrs. Thane Benedict. Bearers were Charles Groome, James Kerr, Henry Alberts, Herbert Cooper, Stanley Gazella and Henry Hamilton.
