Ionia Sentinel Standard, 28 Sep 1981

Byron “Buck” Baie, of Milan, Ill., died Friday in St. Mary’s Hospital, Grand
Rapids.  He was born April 25, 1910, in Illinois, the son of Bert and Nell Baker
Baie.  He was a retired sales representative for King Electronics.  He married
Esther Locher March 25, 1932.  She preceded him in death Oct. 2, 1977.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Diane Bushee of Illinois and Mrs. Mary
Frank of Illinois.  Also surviving are a brother and a sister, Bryce Baie of
Saranac and Mrs. Wayne Henry of Saranac.  Two granddaughters and three
great-grandsons also survive.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. from the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac, The
Rev. Leo Kostizen officiating.  Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery.
