Abbott Expires Friday After Fatal Illness of Two Minutes The entire community was shocked on last Friday when it was learned that Mrs. Wm. Abbott had died very suddenly at her home southwest of Clarksville. Members of the family state that the death came in approximately in two minutes after the fatal illness, but had been slightly ill with headache during the greater portion of the day. The untimely death, coming so unexpectedly, has proved a great shock to the devoted husband and others of the family and all who knew her best. The deceased was formerly Miss Rose Bloomingdale and was born in Traverse City. Her age was 46 years, 11 months and 26 days. Since her marriage to Mr. Abbott thirty years ago the couple have resided at their present farm home. She is survived, besides the husband, by her son, Harry G, and a brother, George Bloomingdale of Sascatchewan, Can. The funeral services were held from the home Sunday, in charge of the Rev. Bretz of Freeport, interment being made in the Clarksville cemetery.
