SUNFIELD SENTINEL OCTOBER 21, 1937 Page 1, Col. 1 THOMPSON BURNS Thompson Burns, 68, died Tuesday afternoon, after a long illness and severely ill for about three weeks. Mr. Burns was born in Sunfield and has always lived here. He was married to Miss Mary Richardson 46 years ago. A son Charles was born to this couple, who died in infancy. He leaves besides his widow, a foster daughter, Mrs. Mable Shellenbarger of Lake Odessa; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Nancy Linhart and Mrs Mary Cogswell, and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at the home at 2 p.m. Friday in charge of H. H. Mapes and son, Jack.
