Funeral services were conducted for Bret H. Bosworth, 72 of Charlotte,
on June 21 (1968) from the Mapes-Fisher Funeral Home in Sunfield. Mr. Bosworth
passed away June 19 in the Hayes-Green-Beach Hospital at Charlotte after
a long illness.

Bret Hobert Bosworth was born Sept. 1, 1896 in Chester Township, a son
of Edwin & Rose Gragg Bosworth. He was a farmer and a life long resident
of this area. On May 2, 1923 he was united in marriage to Anna Bale and
to this union one son, Carl Wayne, was born in 1926 who lived 15 days.

He leaves besides his wife, Anna; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Gorham of Jackson
and Almira Dooling of Vermontville; and a brother, Donald, or rural Grand
Ledge.

The Rev. Robert Keith of the Sunfield United Methodist Church officated.
Interment in Freemire Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Chester Allen, Don Rogers, Nelson Simpson, Emerson Newth,
Louis Bosworth and Auletus Bosworth.
