OBITUARY:  WILLIAM G. BABCOCK
        OVID-Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Houghton funeral Home for
William G., Babcock, 57, of 2130 N. Vincent road. Burial will be in
Middlebury Cemetery. Mr. Babcock was killed early Saturday when his truck
hit a tree near his home.
        He was a resident of the Middlebury area most of his life and a member of
the Masonic Lodge and OES here.
        Mr Babcock is survived by his wife, Eva; one daughter, Mrs Doris Loveall
of Lansing; one son, Donald of Ovid; one brother, Charles of Owosso; two
sisters, Mrs Beulah Tracey of California and Mrs Nelia Collins of Colorado,
and 10 grandchildren.
