Obituaries from the Clare County Cleaver, Harrison, Michigan

Helen M. Burns 68, of rural Harrison, passed away Thursday, April l5,
1999, at Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center, Clare, Michigan.  Helen
was born September 7, 1930, in Jackson, Michigan the daughter of Guy and
Mary Lutz.
     Mrs. Burns had resided in the Harrison area since 1983, moving from
Jackson.  She was united in marriage to John R. "Jack" Burns on December
30, 1982, in Harrison.
     Surviving are her husband Jack of Harrison; one son, Daniel
Vandeventer and wife Melody of Jackson; one daughter; Janet Branch and
husband David of Wickenburg, Arizona, a step-son David North of Los
Angeles, California; two granddaughters, Danielle and Carla Vandeventer,
a sister-in-law, Pat Lutz of Jackson, one niece, plus other relatives
and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Lee
Lutz.
     According to her wishes, there was no visitation or services. 
Cemation has taken place.  Arrangements were by Stocking Funeral Home,
Harrison, Michigan.
