Originally was the unorganized townships of Sugarloaf (Crockertown, formerly Number 4, R2) and Jerusalem (Number 3, R2, BKP) In 1855 Jerusalem was organized into a plantation. Jerusalem, Franklin Co., Maine was a wild land township bounded by Dead River, Highland, Kingfield, Crockertown. Previous designation of Jerusalem was: 3R2 BKP WKR & Treadwell.
