HOLY BIBLE - a very small book about 4 x 5 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches, containing the OLD and NEW TESTAMENT - translated out Of the 0riginal Tongues compared and revised. Published in 1890 by the American Bible Society, New York, instituted in the year MDCCCXVI. On the Fly Leaf in the front is the following: "Presented to Robert Simmons for perfectly reciting the "Shorter Catechism", by his S.S. Teacher, Mollie L. Fauts." The above was written and signed by Miss Mollie L. Fauts. There is no date mentioned in the above presentation, but the "Diploma" awarded to him by the Editors of the Christian Observer, through the Plains Presbyterian church, is dated Louisville, Ky., January 23, 1892. Certified to and signed by the Pastor of the Church, A. Z. Young. There are no Family Pecord Sheets in this small Bible, but on the Fly Sheets in the back we find the fol1owing records: Robert P.
