Mary H. "Peewee" Johnson
Funeral services for Mary H. "Peewee" Johnson, 75, of Pitkin will be held at 2 p.m. 
Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at Gravel Hill Baptist Church of Cravens, with the Revs. 
Arlon Smith and Thomas Thornton. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery 
under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will 
be held today, May 25, from 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday in the Church. 
Mrs. Johnson passed away Monday, May 24, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. She 
was born in Lake Arthur and was a lifelong resident of Cravens, where she was a member 
of Gravel Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Johnson 
and her infant daughter, Shirley Jean Johnson. Survivors include one son, James A. 
Johnson of Cravens; one daughter, Elaine Moore of Cravens; two brothers, John Hebert 
and Gabreil Hebert, Jr., both of Lake Arthur; one sister, Marie Guidry of Lake Arthur, 
four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
