The farmers of the latter section are tearing down fences around their farms in observance of the no-fence law which went into operation there a few weeks ago. This necessitates their neighbors in Union to fence in both their crops and their stock. A stock law is a good thing, but it sould be made a general state law and not become effective under a year after its passage, in order to enable people to prepare for the change. ###############################################################################
