Daigle Irene Theriot Collins Death came to Mrs. Charles Collins Sr., 69, on October 23 at Terrebonne General following several weeks of illness. The Collins residence is at 618 Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 10 am from Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery, No. 2. The deceased, the former Irene Theriot, was born February 14, 1893 in Terrebonne Parish of the late Arthur Theriot and Celestine Marcel Theriot. She is survived by her husband and ___ sons, Charles Collins Jr., Houma, Harold Collins, Morgan City and Tom Collins, Patterson; two daughters, Mrs. Howard LeBouef, Lafayette, and Mrs. Ruth Jarrell of Houma; ___ sisters, Mrs. Libby Cou__, Algiers, Mrs. Robert Bou___ux, New Orleans; Mesdames Olive Duplantis, Herman Duplantis, Elmore Boudreaux, __elo Fellaro and Joe Traina, of Houma. Also surviving are: 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Daigle Euzelia Bergeron Pellegrin Funeral services were held October 20 for Mrs. Oliva Pellegrin, 81, who died October 18, at __ am, at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Alvin Gaston, Montegut. Interment was in Sacred Heart Church cemetery. The deceased was the former Euzelia Bergeron and was born in Chacahoula October 3, 1881. She is survived by two sons, __ie and Raleigh of Montegut, and two daughters, Mrs. Alvin Gaston and Mrs. Willie Boudreaux, also of Montegut. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, __ great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Daigle Lawrence Blanchard Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 24, at 10 am at st. Ann Catholic Church, for Lawrence Frank Blanchard, 74, who died October 23 at 9 am, his residence, Bourg. Surviving are his wife, the former Emmeline Belanger and sons Lloyd Blanchard, Mar__, and Bert Blanchard of Houma; two daughters, Mrs. ___ Charpentier and Mrs. ___ Walker, both of Bourg. __ surviving are 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The deceased was born July __, 1888. He was a retired bridge tender. Interment was in the Church cemetery. Verdin Last rites were held Wednesday, October 24, at 9:30 am for Jean Maurice Verdin, 82, who died at his residence, Rte. 1, Houma, on October 22 at 11 pm. Services were conducted at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Montegut. Interment was in the Dugas cemetery. The deceased is survived by his wife, the former Alfreda Dupre, and one son, Whitney Verdin of Houma. Mr. Verdin was a retired farmer. SAVOIE Dies Oct 18, Rites Oct 19 Funeral services were held October 19 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church for Cyprien John SAVOIE, 78, 214 Margaret, who died, Oct 18 at 5:30 am at Terrebonne General, following a short illness. The deceased was born May 2, 1894 at Lafourche Parish. He was the son of Theophile SAVOIE and Octavia Caro SAVOIE. He is survived by two sons, Claude SAVOIE, Houma and Charles SAVOIE of Marrero; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph LANGRIDGE, Bell Chase; Mrs. Paul FANGUY, Houma; Mrs. David PORCHE, Algiers and Mrs. Gilbert OLIVIER, Houma; two brothers, Oliver SAVOIE and Ursin SAVOIE, Bayou Blue; three sisters, Miss Laura SAVOIE, New Orleans, Miss Azelie SAVOIE, Bayou Blue, and Mrs. August CHAUVIN, Bayou Blue. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Mr. SAVOIE was a retired produce dealer. First National Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
