James Morrell Arnold

Funeral services for James Morrell Arnold,91, of Newellton were held
on November 7, 2000 in the Newellton Baptist Church.

Burial was in the Legion Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Arnold was born in Meadville Mississippi,and had lived in Newellton
for 75 years. He died at his residence on November 5, 2000.

Survivors include his wife, Norvell King Arnold of Newellton; three
sons, Gerald Arnold of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Danny Arnold and Roger
Arnold, both of Newellton; two brothers, Cleon Arnold and Buddy Arnold
of Newellton; two sisters, Annie Bess Taylor of Lake Bruin and Mary Ida
Spencer of Medford. Oregon; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren.
