She was preceded in death by her husband, Hezzie B. Tisdale Sr.; 17 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be today at Schoen Funeral Home, Covington, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the funeral at 10. She is preceded in death by her parents, Christopher C. and Idell Laborde Dupuy; first husband, Johnnie Richard Huguet; second husband, John Ray Tisdale; 3 sisters, Irene Warren, Cliss Guillory, Jane Dozat; 5 brothers, Cullen, Collier, Lance, Irby and Roy Dupuy. Mr. Hezzie Bienville Tisdale Jr., 66 years old and a resident of Hammond, died Thursday, June 22, 2006, at his home. He was born Sunday, Feb. 25, 1940, in New Orleans, son of the late Hezzie Bienville Sr. and Arilla Loyd Tisdale. Mr. Tisdale was the former owner of Hammond Heights Water Co. and a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. He also served in the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army's 504th Military Police Battalion. Surviving are his wife, Gloria Imbraguglio Tisdale of Covington; daughter, Lea Tisdale Richerson of Covington; son, Brett Tisdale of McComb, Miss.; four grandchildren, Blake and Parker Richerson, and Madeline and Hayes Tisdale; and his brother, Tommy Tisdale of Grapevine, Texas. Friends were received Friday, June 23, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation will continue at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond on Saturday, June 24, from 8 a.m. until service at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond.
