She was a retired Louisiana publicschool teacher with 25 years of service. Most of her experience was teaching first grade at Tucker Elementary School, Ponchatoula. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Southern Mississippi and M.Ed. degree and 45 post-graduate credits at Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond. For as long as her health permitted, she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Hammond. Rojean, 79, was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lucy Buckalew Boutwell; and brother, Leonard Boutwell. She is survived by her brother, Ray Boutwell and his wife, Joyce; husband of 58 years, Thomas Tedder; daughter, Jan LabbŽ and her husband, Steve; and son, Tommy Tedder and his wife, Agnes. She is also survived by six grand- children, Anne Labbe Gowan and her husband, John, Stephen Labbe and his wife, Jennifer, Johnathon Sprouse and his wife, Allison, Jennifer Sprouce, Emma Adams, Stephanie Tedder Bennett and her husband, Jesse. She was also great-grandmother to Madison, Samantha, Grace, Tyler, Collin, Emilie, Richard and Hope. The family will receive guests at First Baptist Church of Hammond on Wednesday, Jan. 26, between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. The funeral will be held at First Baptist Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Hays Cemetery near Meridian, Miss., at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hays Cemetery Fund and mailed to Mrs. Martha Germany at 4299 County Road 456, Meridian, MS 39391. He was a retired pipeline welder with Local 798 and also a member of Local 198, and was a project manager for various Natural Gas Production facilities. He was born in Natalbany, raised in Bossier City and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Visitation will be at Luke 10:27 Church in Denham Springs on Sunday, Sept. 3, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by Leslie Akin, pastor. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery in Denham Springs. Survived by wife of 44 years, Tina Alleman Tedder; two sons and daughter-in-law, Warren Dean Tedder and Walt Bryant and Lyn Brown Tedder; sister, Evelyn McGee; three grand- children, Lorne Dean Tedder, Emma Elise Tedder and Navy Bryant Tedder; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Edwin Alleman, Donald and Clara Kate Alleman and Gene and Lorra Alleman.
