STUKES, QUENTIN SIRENO  

SPRINGFIELD - Quentin Sireno Stukes, 73, died Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at Belle 
Maison Nursing Home, Hammond. He was a native of Port Isabelle, Tx. Survivors 
include his wife, Bertha Ware Stukes, Springfield; his daughters, Brenda 
Richardson, Springfield, Frances Flether, Killian, Shirley "Cookie" Burg, Pumpkin 
Center, and Denise Brann, Hammond; one son, Jimmy Herring, Springfield; one sister, 
Faith Stukes, Springfield; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She 
was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. There will be a 
graveside memorial service Monday at 11 a.m. at the Springfield Cemetery.
