She was 80 and a native of St. Amant. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Thursday in the chapel from 9 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Interment in Lake Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa and husband James Shaffer, Prairieville; five sons, J.P. Rouyea, Roger Rouyea, Gary and wife Geneva Rouyea, and Terry and wife Paula Rouyea, all of Gonzales, and Roy and wife Mary Rouyea of St. Amant; four sisters, Ella Owens and Florence Norwood, both of Holden, Francis Thompson of Ponchatoula, and Rita Sicard of Denham Springs; a brother, Ben Roy Pearson of Holden; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Corinne Lavigne Pearson; husband, Julius Paul Rouyea; brothers, Tomp, Roy Allen and Day Day Pearson; and sister, Margie Miller. ***************************************************************************
