He was 64. He was born in New Orleans, was a graduate of West Jefferson High School in Harvey, attended two years at Louisiana State University and the New Orleans School of Glass. He was a Hammond area businessman for 25 years and recently made his home in Mineola, Texas. He was a lifelong musician, adept at playing the accordian, guitar and the violin. He enjoyed glass blowing, radio control airplanes and bonsai. He was the beloved son of the late Eugene P. Robin and Lillie Mae Vedros Robin of Marrero. He is survived by four children, Whitnye Robin Lolley of Huntsville, Alabama; Jason Robin and Josh Robin, both of Baton Rouge, Andrew Robin of Hammond, his twin sister, Carol Robin of Mineola, Texas; five grandchildren, Sage, Eden, and Latham Lolley and Alden and Caleb Robin.
