RATTLER, JAMES JR. 
James Rattler Jr., 76, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at the Hammond
Nursing Home. He was a native of Centerville, Miss. He is survived by three
daughters, Betty Jean Reed of Chicago, Betty Ann Matthews of Hammond and
Josephine Rattler Winn. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and
Rosemary Rattler; his wife, Augustine Rattler; and two sons, James C.
Rattler and David Rattler; two sisters, Louise Swan and Doris Rattler; and 
one brother, Issac Sam Rattler. Visitation will be Friday at Richardson
Funeral Home, Hammond, from 5 p.m. until the funeral at 7. The Rev. Leola
Seals will conduct the service. Dismissal will be Saturday at 11 a.m., and
burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
