She was born May 24, 1941 in Magnolia, Miss., to the late George W. and the late Virginia McGehee Day. Visiting at Hartman Funeral Home, McComb, Miss., from noon until religious service at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Roddy Max Jr. and Mary Paris, Vestavia Hills, Ala.; a daughter and son-in-law, Molly Lou Paris Putnam and Michael Putnam, Birmingham, Ala.; a brother and sister-in-law, George W. "Pete" Jr. and Mayze Day, Laurel, Miss.; two grandchildren, Madeline Rae Putnam, Birmingham, and Max Brasher Paris, Vestavia Hills; and nephew, George Brandon Day. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roddy Max Paris Sr. and Robert Eaton Stewart; and numerous extended family. She was a member of Brent Rifels Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Revolution, First Baptist Church, McComb, the McComb Bridge Club, Colonial Dames of 17th Century and First Families of Mississippi. She was a gifted artist and an avid gardener. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Heart Association or Alabama Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. ***************************************************************************
