Amite - Bolivar K. Mobley, 56, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He is survived by one son, Christopher Mobley of Amite; three daughters, Tondra Vernon, Sandra Mobley and Rosalyn Mobley, all of Amite; five sisters, Thelma Nedd of Paradis, Elouise Sims of Roseland, Royal Ella, Myrtle Mobley and Martha Major, all of Amite; seven brothers, Johnny and Justin Mobley, both of Independence, Harry Eli Mobley of Fluker, Glen E. and Willie Mobley, both of Baton Rouge, Andrew Mobley of Monroe, Ga., and Ned Mobley of Deridder; four grandchildren and three step- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Sr. and Onetia Moore Mobley; and one sister, Olivette Simmons. Visitation will be Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 to 9 p.m. The Rev. Independence -- Johnny Mobley Jr., 69, died Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at Summit Hospital, Baton Rouge. A native of Arcola, he is survived by his wife, Edith G. Mobley of Independence; four sons, Rodney Mobley, John E. Mobley and Kevin Givens, all of Amite, and Malcom Mobley of Houston; four daughters, Gwendolyn Rheams of Amite, Ernice Robinson of Uneedus, Ketoinada Williams of Fluker and Jameka Givens of Independence; five sisters, Thelma Nedd of Graceland, Elouise Sims of Roseland, Martha Mayor, Royal Mobley and Myrtle Mobley, all of Amite; six brothers, Justin Mobley of Independence, Harry Mobley of Franklinton, Andrew Mobley of Monroe, Ga., Ned Mobley Sr. of Deridder, Glen Mobley and Willie Mobley of Baton Rouge; and 24 grand- children and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Oneita Mobley; his wife, Shirley Mobley, his sister, a brother, a son and one grandchild.
