Survived by her husband, the Rev. Leon T. Maryland; a daughter, Julester Maryland, Hammond; a special daughter-in-law, Judy Maryland, Hammond; eight sons, Leon Maryland Jr., Hammond, Lee Otis Maryland, Pensacola, Fla., David E. Maryland, Walker, James C. Maryland, Hammond, Lee Edward Maryland, Amite, Demetrius Lee Maryland, George Lee Maryland and Reginald Earl Maryland, all of Hammond; three sisters, Earnistine Matchett, Miami, and Augustine Sibley and Flordia Mae Adams, both of Hammond; two brothers, John Henry Perry, Oakdale, and Earnest Perry Jr., Baton Rouge; four daughters-in-law, Judy Maryland, Hammond, Barnatta Maryland, Walker, Ann Maryland, Pensacola, and Ella Maryland, Amite; 10 sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, 59 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
