He was born in Italy on March 28, 1869; came to the U.S. 64 years ago and was a resident of Hammond for more than 50 years. His wife preceded him in death. Funeral services were Monday at Holy Ghost Catholic church; interment was in Rose Memorial Park with Poole Funeral Home in charge. He leaves four sons, Kelly, Sam, Joe, and Roe; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Cucchiars, Mrs. H. She was 55 and a resident and native of Hammond. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Religious service at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Paul Bailey. Interment in Rose Memorial Cemetery, Hammond. Survived by her husband, Joseph Lobue, Hammond; three stepchildren, Maj. David Louis Lobue, Tampa, Fla., Sheryl Lynn Lobue, Hammond, and Bradley Joseph Lobue, Florida; and a sister, Linda Henderson Blackburn, Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by her parents, Maxie and Kathleen Haslip Henderson. She was a member of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church, a charter member of an American Business Women's Association chapter, a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and chapter advisor, Chamber of Commerce and Belle Oaks Garden Club.
