LOBELL, HENRY "LARRY"
Age 61 and a longtime resident of Hammond, Larry passed away on Saturday, 
Dec. 17, 2011, at North Oaks Medical Center. He was a teacher and coach at 
Hammond High School and a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. Larry 
leaves behind his wife of 41 years, Rhonda Nickens Lobell; mother, Kathron 
B. Lobell Keen; daughter, Kristin Lobell; as well as his grandson and 
"apple of his eye,",Kylar Joseph Lobell Dorsa. He is also survived by his 
sisters, Martha Campbell and Robin Lobell. Preceding Larry in death were 
his father, Elmer Lobell; and stepfather, Lonnie Keen. Funeral services 
were held at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond, on Monday, 
Dec. 19, at 3 p.m. Interment followed in Carter Cemetery in Springfield. 
Pallbearers were Pat King Jr., Brandon Nickens, Bobby Depaula, Sam Costa, 
Glenn Guidry and Kenny Breaud. Honorary pallbearers were Pat King Sr., 
Gerald Wainwright, Brian Dorsa and Ken Fortenberry. Condolences and other
