KIMBALL, MARGARET MELANCON
A resident of Ponchatoula, she died Monday, April 5, 1999, at her
residence. She was 72 and a native of Burnside. Visiting at Harry McKneely
& Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at
the funeral home 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial at
St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, celebrated
by the Rev. Justin Kauchak. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
Survived by husband of 49 1/2 years, Woodrow Joseph Kimball, Ponchatoula;
two sons and daughters-in-law, Lonnie and Jan Kimball, Midlothian, Texas,
and Mike and Lisa Kimball, Ponchatoula; two daughters and sons-in-law,
Cathy and Dicky Cawvey, Loranger, and Mary Beth and Charlie Stevens,
Albany; and eight grandchildren, Kristal Hatton, Shawn Parfitt, Jason and
Adrienne Kimball, and Hope, Amy, Megan and Matthew Stevens. Preceded in
death by parents, Emile J. and Marie Martine Melancon; and a sister, Mary
Ann Waggenspack. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St.
Joseph Ladies Altar Society. Memorial masses may be said in lieu of
flowers, or memorial donations may be made to North Oaks Health and
Hospice.

KIMBALL, MYRTLE MADELINE ANDERSON
Hammond -- A memorial service for Myrtle Madeline Anderson Kimball, 90,
sister of Emma Lean Davis of Ponchatoula, was Tuesday, March 28, from Harry
McKneely and Son Funeral Home. Mrs. Kimball died Sunday, March 26, in North
Oaks Medical Center.

KIMBALL, WOODROW JOSEPH
Woodrow Joseph Kimball, 80, of Ponchatoula, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at
North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was born Sept. 19, 1927, in
Simmesport. Mr. Kimball was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 4874
and a retired agent/yard master for Illinois Central Railroad with 42 years
of service. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Dicky
Cauvey and Mary Beth and Charlie Stevens; two sons and daughters-in-law,
Lonnie and Janelle Kimball and Mike and Lisa Kimball; two sisters, Geneva
Rabalais and Bernadine Kyle; eight grandchildren, Kristal and Shawn
Parfitt, Jason and Adrienne Kimball and Hope, Amy, Megan and Matthew
Stevens; and great-grandchild, Alex Miller. Preceded in death by his wife,
Margaret Melancon Kimball; parents, Shelby Joseph and Caville Aymond
Kimball; three sisters, Leah Oliver, Bernice Kimball and Marlene Crouse.
Friends will be received on Monday, Jan. 7, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral
Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Service at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 330 W. Pine St., Ponchatoula, on
Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Hammond.
