HUNT, DAVID
Died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at Medical Center of Louisiana, New Orleans.
He was 63, a native of Donaldsonville and a resident of Kentwood.
Visitation at Lewiston Baptist Church, Kentwood, from 5 p.m. until funeral
service at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, conducted by the Rev. Marcell
McGee. Graveside service at Hemphill Star Cemetery, Boyce, at 2 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, conducted by the Rev. Ray Schank. Survived by his
wife, Connie Schank Hunt, Kentwood; five children and their spouses, Dawn
and Jared Proctor, Springfield, Mo., Marion Bo Hunt, Kentwood, Danny Wayne
Bolton, Cantonment, Fla., Shonda Allred, Minton, Fla., and Cathy and Kip
Jones, Bailey, Miss.; seven grandchildren; six sisters and five brothers,
Faye Lincecum, Boyce, Mary Covington, San Antonio, Carl Hunt, Port Allen,
Richard Hunt, Alexandria, Jerry Hunt, Colfax, Lillie Wilson, Pineville,
Kitty Hunt, Woodworth, Bobbie Genre, Port Allen, Joe Hunt and Fred Hunt,
both of Boyce, and Ann Hunt, Pineville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, L.E. and Lona Hunt; and two brothers, 
Jimmie Hunt and Ardway Hunt. McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, in charge of 
arrangements.

HUNT, IVANEE STEWART SMITH
A resident of McComb, Miss., she died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2001, at her home.
She was 87, born April 18, 1914, in Tangipahoa Parish. She was the daughter
of the late Joe E. Stewart and Linnie McGehee Stewart. She was a 54-year
member of Central Baptist Church in McComb and a retired associate with
Rofler Sculpture-Kut. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first
husband, Willie F. Smith; her second husband, T. Lawrence Hunt; a son,
James Smith; two daughters, Jane Idell Smith and Agrea Ann Smith; and three 
sisters, Mildred Smith, Lavelle Dickey and Beatrice Cutrer. She is survived
by a son and daughter-in-law, Stewart Smith Sr. and Aileen Smith of McComb;
three grandchildren, Catherine Brooking and her husband, Greg, of McComb,
Stewart Smith Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., and Theresa Ann Fisackerly and her
husband, Wiley, of Lake Jackson, Texas; eight great-grandchildren and a
great-great-grandchild. Visitation was at Catchings Funeral Home, McComb,
from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. Visitation in the funeral home chapel from 
9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Bob Lynch
and Dr. Victor Walsh, officiating. Burial in Hollywood Cemetery.

HUNT, PETER
Amite - Peter Hunt, 41, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at St. Luke Hospital,
Houston. He is survived three sisters, Helen Temple and Wilma Jackson, both
of Amite, and Judy Hunt of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Larry Hunt and
Jimmy Hunt, both of Amite, and Nelson Carey of Baton Rouge. He was preceded
in death by his parents, Estella and Jim Hunt. Visitation will be Friday at
Angelic Funeral Home, Roseland, from 5 to 7 p.m. The Rev. Alfred Bennett
will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will in Mount Canaan
No. 1 Cemetery, Arcola.
