HUCK, ALFRED WILSON 
He died at 4:10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005, at North Oaks Medical
Center in Hammond. He was a native and resident of Independence. He was 86.
Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 10 a.m. to noon on
Tuesday, Jan. 25. Graveside service at Amite Cemetery, Amite, at 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday. Survived by a daughter, Helen Frost, Independence; son, Bill Huck,
Independence; sister, Margaret Dolhoud, Bogalusa; and six grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Smith Huck; and a daughter, Leslie
Fellows. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North
Oaks Hospice.

HUCK, THELMA W.
A native and resident of Independence, she died at 8:55 a.m. Thursday, Oct.
16, 1997, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Hammond. She was 100. Visiting at
McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, 10 a.m. Saturday until religious services at
2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Don Campbell. Interment in Amite Cemetery.
Survived by a daughter, Margaret Dolhomde, Bogalusa; a son, Alfred W. Huck,
Independence; six grandchildren, Bill Huck, Independence, Leslie Fellows, 
Hammond, Helen Frost, Independence, Jane Rhodes, Houston, Paula Taylor,
Clinton, Miss., and Katherine Coles, Baton Rouge; and 11 great-grand-
children. Preceded in death by husband, William Huck.
