A native of Hammond, he is survived by one son, Lance Ashmore of Patterson; his parents, Guy Martin and Marsha Gail Vampran Hollis of Ponchatoula; one brother, Marshall Hollis of White, Ga.; one sister, Michelle H. Sharp of Pumpkin Center; and maternal grandmother, Nell Vampran of Hammond. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Vincent Vampran; and paternal grandparents, B.A. Hollis, Vivian Webb Hollis and Bessie Elmore Hollis. Visitation will be today at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 to 10 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until the funeral at 10. The Rev. Charles Bigner will conduct the service.
